Kidderminster Hospital
The minor Injuries Unit at Kidderminster Hospital treats around 400 patients a week, of which only 2 out of every 100 are referred on to Worcester Royal.
I fully support an Urgent Care Centre being sited at Kidderminster Hospital and a Radiotherapy Unit to compliment the excellent Millbrook Suite for Cancer Patients.
Around 120,000 out-patients visited our hospital in 2006 and 17,000 patients received other treatment procedures.
We have a Renal Dialysis Unit with 20 dialysis stations. Antenatal Clinics, a Mental Health Unit, Cardiology Clinics, Children’s Care Services, In-patient Rehabiliation Care, Eye Clinics, Pain Treatment Clinics, 37 Surgical beds, Orthopaedic Operations including knee and hip replacements plus many more NHS services on site and within GP clinics and surgeries.
Nigel says: “I offer my full support and thanks to Kidderminster Hospital and Staff and indeed all NHS employees in Wyre Forest.”

Nigel Knowles is campaigning for a Radiotherapy and Urgent Care Centre to be sited at Kidderminster Hospital.
Nigel says: “The Labour Government has given extra money to the NHS in our area. Some of it should be spent on a Radiotherapy Unit to compliment the Cancer Suite at Kidderminster Hospital.”
